Six sheets,
on the harbour.
The Prince Rupert Curling Club hosts a great deal of what happens in this town, curling and otherwise.
New members
Put your name down for 2026/27.
Name, a night that suits, and whether you have curled before. It posts straight to the club inbox — no system to buy and nothing for a volunteer to administer beyond reading it.

No fees are shown, because the club does not publish them. In a live build they would sit right here, next to the button.
Read from the live site, 30 July 2026
The season on the front page has already finished.
The season on the front page has finished
The home page still features “Bonspiel Dates 2025/26”. That season is over. Anyone arriving now — which is exactly when people decide what to join in the autumn — is reading last winter’s calendar.
Nothing says when to sign up
There is a New Members section, but no date, no fee and no way to register. For a club competing with every other thing a person could do on a Tuesday night, that is the moment lost.
Everything is behind a menu
Leagues, events, rentals and membership all sit under drop-downs. The two things most visitors want — how do I join, and can I rent the hall — take three clicks each.
This is not neglect. A club run by volunteers updates the site when the season is on and everybody is in the building — which is exactly when nobody needs it to.
What the club does
Leagues
League play through the winter season.
Club events
Bonspiels and socials across the year.
New members
A way in for people who have never curled.
Facility rentals
The club hosts plenty that has nothing to do with curling.
Six sheets
Enough ice to run a real bonspiel.
Gallery
Photographs from around the club.
What would change, in order
1
Put the coming season on the front page
From July, the page should say when the ice goes in, when leagues start and how to get on one.
2
One button to join
Name, night, done. It can post straight to the club inbox — no system to buy.
3
Rentals where people can see them
The hall is a revenue line and it is currently three clicks down a menu.
4
Retire last season automatically
A season stored once, so the site rolls over rather than waiting for somebody to remember.
